Welcome!

In recent years, I find myself too often forgetting the many diverse work efforts I am engaged with. With the advent of AI, I am finding myself moving even faster.

I have several motivations for this blog. An important motivation is for this blog to help me reflect on my work. I think it is important to “debrief” to get a better understanding of how to improve my development process.

Another motivation is conveying my daily/weekly work efforts to all who maybe interested, that is, family, friends, and colleagues. I am hoping to keep the technical jargon at a high level. Software development is a complex endeavor and the terminology is used like any other specialized field to communicate concepts and understanding. Last but perhaps not least, I would like to provide perspective future employers, colleagues, etc. a resource to assist them in understanding in if I can contribute to their software development/engineering efforts.

I believe this blogging effort along with my unquenchable passion for problem solving will help me become a better software engineer and perhaps provide some understanding of what one software engineer does day in and day out.
